She was born in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1984 and began accordeon playing at nine years of age getting her intensive elementary musical education at Croatian music schools in Split, Zagreb and Pula. From 2002 to 2008, she studied the accordion with Prof. Elsbeth Moser in Hanover at the University of Music, Drama and Media.
Mishela Steiner took part in national and international performances early on (in Venice, Castelfidardo, Paris, Antwerp), appeared on Croatian television and won distinction several times in competitions. She has taught accordion and piano since 2007.
